BikeSpace is a popular social networking website which is designed specifically for people who like cycling. You can share maintenance tips with people, or perhaps talk about places where you have been and enjoyed riding. You can also share your photos with other bikers. It’s such a fantastic site for lovers of biking. It can be used like a bar to discuss all sorts of things.

BikeSpace was founded by two graduate students. BikeSpace.net is still in alpha.

BikeSpace is a social networking application but there are some differences to others. There are some nice features including the ability to share photos, journals and latest routes with other people.

BikeSpace has a nice design and looks like most other social networking websites. The site is a little dark but you do get used to this after a while. The site is also organized in quite a clever way which makes it easy to find your way around. There are some nice features of the site including the ability to create your own quizzes however these are often underused. There aren’t currently any quizzes on the site but somebody really should create one.

Registering for your own account isn’t necessary if you just want to check out some of the stories on the site. However if you do want to benefit from posting your own stories on the website then you will need to registry. Registering for an account on bikespace doesn’t take very long. You will then be sent a verification email which you will need to read and click a link on to accept. This will make it possible to log straight into your account and start posting your own stories.

Bikespace is free for everyone to use and doesn’t even seem to be supported by adverts. Quite how this site is making money is not known. It could be that this site was set up as a hobby. Whether this will change in the future is not known.

BikeSpace is a well known and very reliable website. It’s aimed specifically at bikers and people who enjoy biking. This makes it a very useful because you can discuss stories and things about bikes with other people that likes them.
